Settings & locations
Settings controls shop-wide rental defaults: rules, locations, holds, checkout locks, promotions, and related options. Product level settings can override some of these.
Rental rules
Typical global controls:

Open Settings in the app and save after changes. Storefront and admin bookings read the same shop settings.
Locations
Configure pickup locations (and delivery policy where enabled) so shoppers and bookings know where to collect or return items.
- Open Settings → Locations (or the Locations tab in your install).
- Add at least one active pickup location customers can select at checkout.
- Enable the locations you use for rentals.
- Align Shopify location inventory if you rely on location stock.
Pickup-only checkout lock (optional)
Use this when rental products must be pickup only and you want to hide Ship at checkout for those carts.
- The lock hides Ship at checkout when the cart contains pickup-only rental products.
- Open Pickup-only checkout lock in the app to sync the delivery customization.
- Optional on some stores — Shopify Plus may be required for custom-app delivery functions.
Promotions & forms
- Promotions. codes for bookings / checkout (synced when enabled).
- Inquiry forms. fields for quote-only / inquiry products.
Deep guides for promotions and inquiries ship in later phases; the Settings screens are the source of truth in the app today.
